World Steel Group has made Australian Standards compliance a core and permanent part of their manufacturing business — not a project-by-project adaptation. Their facility, systems, workforce and documentation processes are structured around the ongoing requirements of Australian fabrication standards, making them one of the very few Vietnamese manufacturers capable of consistently delivering to this level.
World Steel Group is certified to CC3 under AS/NZS 5131:2016 — the highest classification for structural steelwork fabrication — and is the first company in Asia to achieve IAS AC472 certification.
Our QA/QC Framework
The VTM QA/QC framework is specifically structured to give engineering and procurement teams complete documentation confidence across every project:
- Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for every project
- Manufacturing Data Records (MDRs) maintained as a critical project deliverable
- Full material traceability from mill certificate to site delivery
- Weld mapping and welder qualification records
- Independent NDT reporting and coating inspection records
- Independent third-party verification at every critical fabrication stage
Independent inspection is conducted by internationally recognised organisations including SGS, Australian-based welding inspectors and independent NDT providers operating under ILAC/NATA-recognised frameworks.
